  • Qualified Root Cause Evaluator – Replacement Steam Generator Tube Wear Root Cause – Managed a team of 8 inter-departmental employees and was the report author.  Presented results to senior management.

  • Corrective Action Program Leader – Led multi-disciplined teams including peers from other plants to perform focused assessments of engineering products for program compliance.  Also, assisted several other nuclear plants with their assessments.

  • Civil/Structural Project Engineer for installation of the replacement steam generators including budgets, scheduling, design, and reports to senior management and regulators. Supervised 2 engineers and 1 analyst.

  • Containment Structure Responsible Engineer, including ASME IWL/IWE inspections, concrete shell and all internal concrete and structural steel components.

  • Steam Generator Replacement Resident Engineer at Bechtel in Frederick, MD.
    During 18-month temporary assignment, trained and mentored Bechtel personnel on SONGS design processes.  Developed the installation specification for the replacement steam generators.  Provided weekly reports to management.

  • Dry Cask Storage Project Supervising Engineer at Rancho Seco, CA.  Provided engineering design, field operations, heavy lifting, crane operations, and welding support for transferring spent nuclear fuel to dry storage casks.

  • Project Engineer for Security Armory Facility, which included design, procurement, and installation with limited budget and critical schedule constraints.

  • Lead Project Engineer for containment polar crane and turbine gantry crane control system replacements (4 cranes).  Prepared specifications, procurement activities, vendor management, design change package preparation and installation support.  Managed inter-discipline engineering activities.

  • Spent Fuel Re-rack Project Lead Engineer for temporary single failure proof crane, rack support plates, heavy loads analyses, and associated licensing activities.

  • Civil Lead for developing the Nuclear Consolidated Database.  Supervised two other civil engineers during data collection and research phase.

  • Performed structural assessments of plant structures, prepared repair plans, and provided field support during repair activities.
